AME Student Fabrication Lab photograph showing the labs size and machinery. The AME Student Fabrication Laboratory opened in fall 2018 in Stinson-Remick 116 and 120. This nearly 2,000-sq.-ft. space supports all the design and experiential courses in the the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, as well as co-curricular clubs and individual projects. The space hosts a wide variety of tools and equipment that students can learn to use to build and develop prototypes. The space is designed to be used by all Notre Dame students, and we welcome students from other departments and majors as well!
